10 Tips for the First Day at any IT Company

1. Have a positive attitude.
2. Dress Professionally - attrire is normally business casual.
3. Learn your Co-Workers's name quickly.
4. Ask Questions/Ask for help.
5. Pay Attention/ Take good notes.
6. Be a self-starter; Take initiative.
7. Get and stay organized/set goals.
8. Do not attend to personal business(cell phones/internet use, etc) at work.
9. Set up your laptop once you get to your desk - Please call the helpdesk once you are settled.
10. Please remember this is you work Laptop - do not download any software unless direted by your manager.
